Charlie Humbert won the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles and junior
Charlie Thornton swept the distance events, helping lead Jesuit Dallas to a third place finish at the 2023 Allen Eagle Relays, held on Feb. 23-24 at Allen High School.
Humbert began his strong performance with a 15.51 in the 110-meter hurdles before adding a 41.70 in the 300 meter hurdles. Thornton secured a three-second win in the 3,200-meter run by crossing the finish line in 10:01.07 before following that performance with a 4:36.85 in the 1,600-meter run. Senior
Ben McKinney secured a second-place finish in the 1,600 with a 4:39.82.
Sophomore
Ryan Engelhardt finished second in the 200-meter dash (24.42) while the 4x400 relay team of sophomore
Jesse Jenkins, junior
Henry Beckman, junior
Logan Thompson and Humber secured the silver medal with a 3:35.38 in the meet-closing race. Junior

Adam Kelly, Thompson and junior
Cooper Cutler would add a third-place, 1:33.82 in the 4x200 meter relay.
Jesuit will return to the track on March 4, when the Blue and Gold competes at the Lovejoy Invitational.
