Jesuit Dallas suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday, dropping an 8-4 decision to Westlake at Chaparral Stadium.
Senior
Cameron Martin led the way for the Rangers with two goals on the day, aided by additional tallies from senior
Charlie Schmidt and junior
Greyson Kissock. Jesuit Dallas trailed the Chaps, 5-2 at halftime but closed the gap heading into the fourth quarter. However, Westlake shut out the Rangers in the fourth to end a 12-game winning streak that dated back to March 26, 2022 when Jesuit defeated Austin.

Mercer Fernandes tacked on a pair of assists for the Rangers, Schmidt tacked on a team-leading five ground balls while junior
Samuel Emery secured three ground balls and caused a team-leading two turnovers. Junior
Cooper Tilden went 7-for-7 from the faceoff "x", and senior
Cooper Coleman recorded 15 saves in the contest.
The Rangers will look to reset on Wednesday, March 8 when Jesuit hosts St. Mark's. The matchup will be a rematch of last year's Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL) Class AA Semifinal, a contest won by Jesuit, 12-6, en route to the Rangers securing their fourth THSLL State Championship. Face-off is set for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
