DALLAS - The Jesuit Dallas lacrosse team used a dominating opening half which included six unanswered goals on its way to a 10-5 victory over No. 1 Highland Park in the Texas High School Lacrosse League State Semifinals at Highlander Stadium on Saturday.
With the win, Jesuit (10-5) will meet The Woodlands (16-2) in the THSLL Class AA State Championship on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Highlander Stadium. The Rangers are looking for their first state title since winning back-to-back crowns in 2021 and 2022.
On Saturday, the Rangers came out and were the aggressors getting an early 2-1 lead with a pair of turnovers. The Scots tied it at 2-2 in the final seconds of the opening period.
Then the Rangers caught fire, outscoring the top seeded team 6-0 in the second 12-minute frame.
