Jesuit Dallas will send 10 qualifying entries into the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Region I-6A Track & Field Meet following a strong performance at the District 7-6A & District 8-6A Championships, held on Friday, April 21 at Wilemon Field in Arlington, Texas. The Rangers placed third overall at the annual showcase highlighting the top talent from Arlington ISD, Grand Prairie ISD, Highland Park, Irving ISD, Jesuit and Richardson ISD.

Charlie Humbert and junior
Henry Beckman stood tall in their event, capturing the area championship with a 3:22.82. The Rangers edged Grand Prairie by 0.09 seconds for the victory. Beckman would tack on Jesuit's lone individual event victory of the meet by finishing first in the 800-meter run with a personal-best time of 1:55.82. Cutchall finished close behind, earning his way to regionals with a second-place, personal-best time of 1:56.73.
Junior
Charlie Thornton qualified for regionals in both distance events, placing fourth in the one-mile (4:39.72) and the two-mile (10:06.06) runs. Humbert added an individual qualification of his own with a second-place finish in th 300-meter hurdles, running his best time of the year in the event and recording a 40.10. Aldridge advanced in the 400-meter dash with a personal-best 50.82, placing fourth.

Mason Adams, earned their way to regionals by finishing third and fourth, respectively. Both Rangers cleared the 14'0'' bar, with the mark serving as a new personal best for Adams.
The Rangers will now turn their attention to the regional meet, which is set for Apr. 28-29 at UTA Maverick Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
