Jesuit Dallas lacrosse wrapped the regular season with a 9-7 setback to Southlake on Thursday at Ranger Stadium. The Rangers will move into the postseason as the No. 7 seed in the Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL) Class AA State Championship Tournament, where the Blue and Gold will square off against Westlake in the first round on Saturday, May 6.

Charlie Schmidt and junior Grayson Kissock scored two goals apiece, with additional tallies recorded by seniors Donnie Lambrecht, Cam Martin and junior

Cameron Bare made a big splash for the Rangers, recording seven saves in his first division start and shutting out Southlake in the first quarter. Senior

Broderick Hobbs each recorded an assist for Jesuit while junior
Cooper Tilden racked up five ground balls and eight face-off wins. Seniors

Michael Mathie tied for the team lead with three caused turnovers apiece.
Jesuit and Westlake will meet for the second time this season, as the two teams squared off on Saturday, March 4. In that matchup, Westlake upended Jesuit, 8-4 to put an end to Jesuit's 4-0 start to the regular season. Saturday's 6 p.m. face-off will mark the first time since 2017 that the two teams have met in the postseason, as Jesuit Dallas defeated Westlake, 8-5, in the THSLL Division I Regional Finals on May 8, 2017 en route to securing hte second THSLL State Championship in program history.
