The Jesuit Dallas hockey team jump-started its charge to the postseason with a 4-1 win over Northwest on Wednesday at StarCenter Plano. The victory propels Jesuit into third place of the AT&T Metroplex Varsity Gold division ahead of several key matchups against fellow playoff teams.
The Rangers were paced by four goal scorers as
Wade Bryan, Max Reynolds,
Everett Sahadevan and
Allen Zhang lit the lamp for the Blue and Gold. Assists were recorded by
Thomas Fino,
Rex Garrick and Will Hubbell while netminder
Misha Saratovtsev made 19 saves en route to securing the win.
Jesuit will head to Colorado for the 2024 Jesuit Cup this weekend, where the Rangers will compete in four games against brother schools in Littleton, Colorado. The Rangers' run will start on Saturday against Bellarmine (10:30 a.m. MT) and St. Ignatius (6:30 p.m. MT), continue on Sunday against host Regis (4:15 p.m. MT) and conclude on Monday against Loyola Academy (8:30 a.m. MT). Jesuit will return to league play on Wednesday, Jan. 17 against Frisco West.
