The Jesuit Dallas hockey team secured its second win of the 2024-25 season with a 5-3 win over Allen on Wednesday at the Richardson StarCenter.
 
Junior Allen Zhang scored two goals for the Rangers as junior William Hubbell, senior Ewan Randles and sophomore Maxwell Reynolds lit the lamp for the Blue and Gold. Senior goalie Sasha Dikun earned her first victory of the season, making 16 saves in goal.
 
Jesuit opened the contest with three unanswered goals in the first period before Allen tacked on a goal on the power play during the second period. Allen closed the gap to one goal with 12:41 remaining in the third period, but Jesuit was able secure an empty net goal with 31 seconds remaining to clinch the victory.
 
The 2024-25 season continues Wednesday, October 9, when the Rangers will return to the Richardson StarCenter to battle Keller. Puck drop is set for 8:30 p.m.
