Jesuit Dallas football finished the 2024 season in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Region I-6A Division II Bi-District Round with a 56-42 loss to Arlington Bowie on Friday at Wilemon Field in Arlington. The Rangers close out the year with a 6-5 record after securing the program's 16th playoff appearance since debuting in the UIL in 2004.
 
Senior Charlie Peters accounted for six touchdowns during his final game at Jesuit Dallas, completing 35-of-45 passes for 332 yards and three touchdowns while running the ball a team-high 16 times for 45 yards and adding three scores on the ground. Junior Shane Parker nabbed his first career 100-yard receiving game, catching a touchdown and finishing the bout with 11 catches for 104 yards. Senior Blake Bodnar capped a breakout senior season with nine catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns. Senior Henry Bourret carried the ball 11 times for 25 yards while senior Jaeger Krauss impressed with 10 catches for 85 yards.
 
On defense, senior Cooper Smith led the team with 11 tackles, followed by 10 stops from junior Gabriel James. Senior Merritt Johnson made nine tackles, senior Jack McGoldrick picked up nine stops of his own, junior Cabe Weismueller racked up eight tackles, senior Arsen Ventura added six stops and senior Julien Bird made six tackles in the bout, hitting the 100-tackle plateau. The Ranger defense picked up two tackles for loss in the matchup, with senior Jack McGoldrick, junior Gabriel James and junior Parker Sherman racking up tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
