Jesuit held Irving to 4-of-13 on third-down conversion attempts, withstanding a ground-and-pound offense that held possession for 32:20 of the 48 minutes of game time.
The Rangers will hit the road to battle J.J. Pearce on Friday, October 4. Pearce dropped a 55-49 decision to Lake Highlands on Friday, coming up on the losing end of a wild shootout that featured 1,069 total offensive yards between the two teams. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Eagle-Mustang Stadium.
