The 2025 Jesuit Dallas soccer season began on Thursday as the Rangers secured a 3-0 win over Nolan Catholic in the first round of the 2025 Jesuit-Meintser Soccer Invitational at Ranger Stadium.

Clyde Araiza scored Jesuit's first goal of the year in the ninth minute off of an assist by junior
Cooper McGough, finishing the bout with two goals after adding a tally in the 54th minute off of a feed by junior
Andres Benitez. Senior
Mario Zamora scored Jesuit's final goal of the opener in the 31st minute, assisted by senior
Max Sabogal.

Jesuit out-shot Nolan Catholic, 18-3 as the defense kept the Vikings in check and did not yield a shot on goal during the bout. Senior
Marcelo Elizondo started in goal for the Rangers and was complimented by senior
Jake Chostner, who was in goal for the second half.

The Rangers will take on Bryan Adams in the championship semifinal of the Meintser Tournament as the Cougars upended TCA-Addison, 9-0, in the first round. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3.
