Jesuit Dallas hockey participated in its first of two out-of-state tournaments to wrap up the 2024-25 season, battling some of the top talent in the country at the 2025 Jesuit Cup, hosted in Littleton, Colorado by Regis Jesuit (Colo). The Rangers finished the tournament with an 0-4 record, falling to programs from Illinois and Washington D.C. alongside a one-goal loss to the hosting Raiders from Regis Jesuit.

In Jesuit's first matchup, a 5-1 loss to Loyola Academy (Ill.), senior
Conor Parro scored Jesuit's first goal of the tournament off of an assist by senior

Kirin Zeikus made 45 saves for the Rangers in the loss, including 18 stops in the third period. The Rangers dropped a narrow, 5-4 decision to Regis Jesuit to close out Thursday's double header, making a valiant comeback while down by two goals with 10:49 left in the second and tying the game, but allowed the go-ahead goal with 7:47 remaining in the third.Â

To end pool play, Jesuit fell to Gonzaga (D.C.), 5-2. Peppard opened the scoring, hitting the back of the net on a power play goal that was assisted by Woods and Parro. Peppard would add his second of the game in the third period off of a feed by Parro, stopping a run of four unanswered goals by Gonzaga. Senior
Sasha Dikun was in goal for the Rangers and picked up 35 saves. In the tournament finale against Gonzaga, Jesuit fell, 3-1. Parro scored Jesuit's last goal of the 2025 Jesuit Cup on an assist by Woods, and Zeikus racked up 28 saves.

Jesuit will return to league play on Wednesday, January 22 against Highland Park. Puck drop for Jesuit's penultimate game of the regular season is set for 6:45 p.m. at the Richardson StarCenter.
