MCKINNEY, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas hockey team scored four goals in the third period to record a 5-3, com-from-behind win over Prosper at the StarCenter McKinney Rink on Wednesday.
Maxwell Reynolds had a goal and two assists to lead the effort as Jesuit (3-1-1) picked up their second-consecutive win. Reynolds' unassisted goal with 8:34 to play gave Jesuit a 4-3 lead that they would not relinquish.
Wade Bryan had a power play goal in the first period that tied the game at 1-1. The Eagles regained the lead late in the first with a power play goal before adding another man-up score in the second frame.
Jesuit's offense came alive in the third, scoring three goals in a 2:12 span.
Aike Han found the net with 10:46 remaining. Then Will Hubbell tied it at 3-3 before Reynolds' goal with 8:34 on the clock.
Patrick Breen added an insurance goal with 3:07 in the contest.
Jesuit will return to play next Wednesday, October. 22 against Southlake Carroll (1-4). The puck drops at 8:30 p.m. at the Richardson StarCenter Blue Rink.
