RICHARDSON, Texas - The Jesuit hockey team secured a 5-1 victory over Southlake Carroll at the Richardson StarCenter on Wednesday.
The victory extended the team's win streak to three games as 10 players recorded a point and
Thomas Strand stopped 20 shots in net.
Jesuit (4-2) held a decisive 40-21 shots advantage, including a 17-4 edge in the third period where they scored three goals.
Will Hubbell got the scoring started four minutes into the game when he took a feed from
Rex Garrick for his second goal of the season.
Allen Zhang made it a 2-0 Jesuit lead later in the period.
After a scoreless second period, Garrick found
Archer Harris for a shorthanded goal to extend the lead to 3-0. Carroll scored its lone goal at the midway point of the third before Jesuit answered with a goal by
Victor Laos and an empty net score from
Grant O'Dea to close out the contest.
The Rangers will return to the ice next Wednesday, October. 29 when they face McKinney. Action gets underway at the Farmers Branch StarCenter at 9:15 p.m.
