IRVING, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas football team fell to No. 12 Denton Guyer, 44-14, in the Area Round of the 2025 UIL Division 2 Football Playoffs at Joy and Ralph Ellis Stadium on Friday.
Jesuit finished the season at 6-6 as it made the program's 18th appearance in the UIL postseason since 2004 while advancing to the Area round for the 12 time.
The Rangers ran into a big, physical Wildcat squad that held the Blue and Gold to 234 yards of total offense.
Beck Berry threw for 175 yards and a touchdown but completed just 17-of-35 pass attempts. He was also the team's leading rusher in the game, totaling 13 yards on six carries.
Cade Kirby caught nine passes for 128 yards, including a 57-yarder that setup Jesuit's first score - a 13-yard
Shane Parker run in the final minute of the third quarter.
Cole Johnson led the Ranger defense with nine tackles and 1.5 for loss.
Guyer had 450 yards of total offense and scored on seven of its first eight possessions as it built a 44-0 lead. Carter Morgan completed 11-of-13 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns, while Kaedyn Cobbs ran for 89 yards and two touchdowns.
