Behind individual district championships in singles and doubles, Jesuit Dallas secured its first district championship since 2022 in dominant fashion during the two-day tournament, which began at the Samuel Grand Tennis Center in Dallas and concluded in Richardson.

Senior
Connor Cole captured his second straight individual district championship, opening his championship run with a 6-1, 6-0 win over George Whitfield from Lake Highlands. A 6-0, 6-0 win over Pearce's Ben Furman in the semifinal set the stage for a showdown against J.J. Pearce's Zach Cheyne in the championship match, which Cole dominated, 6-0, 6-0 to clinch the championship. Over his past two seasons, Cole has only dropped one game at the district tournament, securing 6-0, 6-0 victories in six of his seven singles matches during that span.

In doubles, senior
Dillon Blanton and freshman
Van Davidson emerged victorious atop the bracket following an all-Jesuit final. Senior
Ben Woodard and junior
William Wayne finished second at the tournament, securing their spot in the regional championship in May.
Â
After earning a bye in the first round, Blanton and Davidson won their quarterfinal match, 6-4, 6-1 against Richardson before upending Lake Highlands, 6-3, 6-1 to punch their ticket to the final. On the other end of the bracket, Woodard and Wayne began their run with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Irving in the round of 16, following that decision with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Richardson to advance to the semifinal. Despite dropping the first set, Woodard and Wayne dominated the back half of their semifinal showdown en route to a 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory.
Â
In the doubles' final, Woodard and Wayne won the first set, 6-4 before Blanton and Davidson sent the championship match into a tiebreaker with a 6-0 victory in the second set. Blanton and Davidson capped off the win with a narrow, 7-5 win in the third set tiebreaker.

Sophomore
Mark Scucchi advanced to the semifinal of the singles bracket with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Irving in the round of 16 followed by a 6-1, 6-3 upset win over Richardson's Avery Morris. However, Scucchi's run concluded with a 6-1, 6-2 loss to Cheyene in the championship semifinal.

With the victory, Jesuit Dallas will send five athletes to the regional championship tournament, set for May 7-8 in McKinney at The Courts of McKinney. The action will begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7 and continue at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 8.
