Jesuit Dallas sophomores
Eli Garza and
Daniel Shao were named to the Texas Boys' High School Volleyball (TBHSV) All-State team, announced by the organization following the 2025 State Championship Tournament on May 2-3.

Garza was a key cog for the Rangers, playing in 19 of the team's 23 matches and totaling 56 sets. The sophomore racked up a team-leading 59 aces, averaging 1.05 aces per set, and finished second on the team with 158 kills while collecting the team's best hitting percentage with a .256 clip on the year. Garza also assisted on 22 kills, racked up 68 digs and assisted on four blocks.

Shao was Jesuit's defensive standout during the season with a team-high 142 digs, averaging 2.45 digs per set. In addition, Shao collected 42 aces, ranking third on the team, and added 14 kills to the team's effort while picking up 39 assists for the third-highest total on the team.

The Rangers finished the 2025 season with a 16-6-2 record, and advanced to the 2025 TBHSV State Championship game to cap a sensational 2025 playoff run. Jesuit began its run with a sweep of Nolan Catholic on April 22 before an incredible comeback win over the Red River Rattlers, battling back from a 2-0 deficit to win in five sets and advance to their second straight TBHSV State Semifinal. A 3-1 win over Vista Ridge provided the Rangers with their first TBHSV State Championship game berth.
