WYLIE, Texas - The Jesuit track & field program performed well at the Pirate Invitational at Wylie High School, one of the bigger early-season area meets of the outdoor season.
The Rangers scored 44 points and finished in sixth place as they capped off the day by winning the varsity 4x400 relay. The varsity group finished with a 3:22.85 - nearly six seconds faster than their winning time at last week's Hebron Hawk Invitational.

Jesuit will return to action next weekend as it will split the varsity team into two meets. A select group will go to the Texas A&M Bluebonnet HS Invitational on Friday and Saturday, with the remainder of the varsity and junior varsity at the Parish Invitational on Saturday.
