2016: TSWA All-State designee...UIL All-District First Team selection…made a majority of his 43 starts at first base, appearing in 45 total contests for the state champion Rangers…hit .372 on the year, finishing third on the team in batting average, adding a team-best .516 on-base percentage…closed out the year with 45 hits and 28 walks, both of which finished second on the team, tying Bryce Bonner for a team-leading nine doubles…was hit by pitch a team-high nine times…collected a season-high three hits on two occasions, first against Berkner (Mar. 3) before going 3-for-3 in the decisive third game of the UIL Regional Semifinals against Oak Ridge (May 28)…scored a season-high four runs on Mar. 5 against Rockwall…made five appearances on the mound for the Blue and Gold, finishing the year with a 3-0 record…threw 15.2 innings, logging four starts and striking out 15 batters…struck out a season-high six batters on senior night against R.L. Turner (Apr. 27).
