2017: TSWA All-State Quarterback...All-District First Team Quarterback...concluded the season completing 252-of-361 passes for 3,566 yards and 26 touchdowns, adding 475 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground...completed 35-of-51 passes for season-best 433 yards in the team's season finale against Longview (Nov. 25)...added four touchdowns on 17-of-22 passing against Lake Highlands (Oct. 27)...rushed nine times for 141 yards and four touchdowns against Lakeview Centennial (Nov. 17) to earn Dallas Morning News Player of the Week plaudits...closed the year with seven games of 300 passing yards or more.

2016:
  • Started two games during his junior campaign
  • Completed 15-of-26 passes in his first varsity start, throwing two touchdowns against Plano East (Sep. 2)
  • Finished the year throwing for 537 yards and three touchdowns, tacking on 113 yards on the ground
  • Closed his second varsity start against eventual UIL Division I-6A State Champion Lake Travis with 160 yards
