Five first-inning runs set the tone for Jesuit Dallas, as the Rangers saw their district winning streak improve to four games with a 13-2 win over W.T. White on Tuesday.

Julian Colombo drove in a career-high three runs, going 2-for-3 from the plate with a double and scoring twice. Classmate
Jaden Woodson collected his second consecutive four-hit game with a 4-for-4 performance, cracking a double and crossing the plate twice. Woodson is currently on a four-game hitting streak, batting at a .688 clip since Jesuit's win over J.J. Pearce on April 4. Sophomore
Garrett Reuben went 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs, helping the Rangers' sophomore class finish the game 10-for-11, accounting for seven of the team's 13 runs and seven of the squad's 11 runs batted in.

Will Guzman and
Jake Ryan. Guzman drove in two runs, junior
Maccoy Lopez scored twice, and senior
Alex Lengyel logged a 2-for-2 performance, driving in two runs. Senior
Heath Vankirk threw a complete game on the mound, finishing the afternoon allowing no earned runs on three hits and striking out five, walking only one batter, to improve his record on the year to 6-1.

Jesuit got to the Longhorn pitching early, scoring five first inning runs on six hits. Lopez kicked off the contest with a wone-out single to center field, and singles from Woodson and Reuben loaded the bases. Lopez scored on a two-out passed ball before Colombo doubled to left center, plating Reuben and Woodson for a three-run lead. Guzman doubled home Colombo before scoring on a W.T. White error to close Jesuit's first run offense.

Reuben laced a single through the right side to score Lopez in the second before Lengyel's third-inning single to center field plated Guzman, and Woodson increased Jesuit's lead to eight runs with a two-out single to right. A double by Colombo and bases loaded walk to Lengyel in the fourth blossomed Jesuit's lead to double digits before three runs, scored on a sacrifice fly by Reuben alongside doubles from Ryan and Carlson, allowed Jesuit to secure the run rule win in the fifth.

Jesuit will welcome the Longhorns to Wright Field on Friday, April 21 for the annual "Battle for the Saddle". First pitch between the Rangers and W.T. White is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
