Senior Trey Weiderecht scored five goals, including three in the second half, vaulting Jesuit Dallas past Memorial, 14-6, in the second round of the Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL) Playoffs on Saturday in Dripping Springs, Texas.
 
The Rangers (12-5) saw eight players find twine, led by a career-high scoring effort by Wiederecht. Junior David Sprock scored three goals, classmate Jack Tabor recorded two goals, and senior Daniel Burnum, freshman Tommy Hovivian, sophomore Matthew Priddy, junior Marshall Ellison and fellow third year Grayson Hassell added goals to the Jesuit effort. Senior Dixon Smith secured seven ground balls, while senior Luke Millican made nine saves in cage.
 
Jesuit will next take on Westlake at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 7 in the THSLL Super Regional. The winner of Sunday's matinee between the Rangers and Chaps will advance to the THSLL State Tournament in Houston, Texas on May 13-14.
