Career performances by several of the Jesuit Dallas offensive skill players highlighted the final week of non-district play in a 64-45 loss to Lake Travis on September 15 at Cavalier Stadium in Austin, Texas. Scoring the most points since November 11, Jesuit will head into district play after crossing the 30-point plateau for the third consecutive game, concluding a stacked non-district slate that pitted the Blue and Gold against both defending UIL 6A state champions.
Senior
Parker Towns set a new career high, completing 35-of-55 passes for 379 yards and three touchdowns. At the conclusion of non-district play, Towns has 1,086 yards and six touchdowns to his credit, averaging 362 passing yards per game. Senior
Fletcher Rosenbleeth added a career-high 174 yards and a touchdown, securing the highest single-game receiving total since 2014. Reigning Ranger of the Week

Â
How it Happened
Â
- Jesuit (0-3) got on the board early when Towns found Rosenbleeth for a 56-yard touchdown on the Rangers' third play from scrimmage. Lake Travis would respond with a field goal, but Jesuit returned the lead to seven points after a career-long, 42-yard field goal from junior James Koshakji split the uprights.
Â
- Lake Travis recaptured the lead with a kickoff return touchdown by Garrett Wilson, 46-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Matthew Baldwin to Hudson Card and 49-yard rush by Nick Villarreal. Trailing, 29-10, Priddy scored his first touchdown on a 29-yard rush after sophomore EJ Smith put the Rangers in position with an electrifying, 28-yard rush of his own.
Â
- After another Lake Travis touchdown, the Rangers regained possession at their own 25-yard line with 3:05 remaining in the half. Jesuit would break off a nine-play, 75-yard drive that culminated with Towns finding Priddy from 14 yards out to send the Rangers into halftime trailing Lake Travis, 29-24.
Â
- Priddy broke off a 62-yard touchdown run in Jesuit's second drive of the third quarter, ending a 14-point unanswered point streak by the Cavaliers to cut the lead to 12 points. The Rangers would recover the ensuing kick after a mishandle by the Lake Travis special teams' unit, but could not cash in on the opportunity.
Â
- In the fourth quarter, Towns found Priddy for a 16-yard touchdown to again cut the Lake Travis lead to 12. The senior quarterback would add a seven-yard touchdown run of his own on Jesuit's next drive, but Lake Travis scored a game-sealing touchdown to clinch the win.
Â
Inside the Numbers
Â
- Priddy's 62-yard run is the longest Jesuit Dallas scoring play since Jacob Palisch '17 threw a 63-yard touchdown pass to current senior Fletcher Rosenbleeth in Jesuit's 74-52 win over J.J. Pearce on Oct. 14, 2016.
Â
- Junior Collin Lark closed the contest with a team-leading three tackles, followed by 2.5 tackles from senior Kevin Tabet. Seniors Cade Brewer, Zachary Harry and Daniel Redell added two tackles each.
Â
- Jesuit dominated the time of possession, holding the ball for 34:41 compared to the 13:19 in which Lake Travis held the ball. In the second half, the Rangers possessed the ball for 10:30 of the 12-minute quarter.
Â
- E.J. Smith carried the ball a career-best 21 times for 85 yards, adding a career-best six receptions to close the contest with 193 all-purpose yards.
