An overtime goal from senior
Bryce Clark lifted the Jesuit Dallas Rangers to a hard-fought, 3-2 victory over Allen on Thursday at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter in McKinney. The victory hands the Blue and Gold their second victory of the season as Jesuit moves its record to 2-0 in overtime games this season.

Seth Dragojevic continued their strong starts to the season as both forwards notched their respective second goals of the year.
Seth Dragojevic added an assist on his brother's second period goal while junior
Andrew McBey recorded his first point of the young season with an assist.

Jesuit out-shot Allen, 34-31 and were aided by a strong performance from junior
Jack Rahlfs, who racked up 29 saves to increase his record on the year to 2-1 while holding an impressive .933 save percentage.

Allen took an early lead, scoring 17 seconds into the first period to open the scoring. The two teams developed quality chances after the early Eagles' strike, including 13 first period shots from the Jesuit offensive contingent. The Rangers equalized the contest with 32 seconds as
Seth Dragojevic ripped a shot past Allen netminder to equalize the contest just prior to the first intermission.

In the second period, Allen out-shot Jesuit, 12-9, but the Rangers took their first lead of the game with 5:48 remaining when JonMikal took a feed from
Seth Dragojevic, lighting the lap to hand Jesuit a 2-1 advantage. Allen forced overtime with 3:45 remaining in the third period, scoring on the power play to force the extra session.

The game seemed to be headed for overtime as neither team developed a quality chance during the first four minutes of overtime. With 47 seconds left, a puck was sent into the slot by Jesuit. A battle in front of the crease resulted in a loose puck, which Clark fired home for the game-winner.

Jesuit will return to action on Thursday, October 11, when the Rangers take on Highland Park at the Richardson StarCenter. Highland Park earned its way into the gold division this season and enters the game with a 2-1 record after earning a 5-4, shootout win over McKinney on October 4.
