Jesuit Dallas kept its unbeaten start to the season intact with an 83-66 road win over state-ranked No. 24 South Grand Prairie on Friday. The Rangers advance to 12-0 on the season and have continued to impress by defeating their fifth ranked opponent of the season.

Senior
Julius Marble scored 24 points for the Rangers, logging his second 20-point game over a seven-day span. Marble shot 9-of-15 from the floor and converted 6-of-8 shots from the free-throw line to fall one point shy of his career-high in scoring, a 25-point outing secured in the championship game of the Knights of Columbus Tournament against Mesquite on Dec. 1.

Sophomore
Gavin Perryman shot 6-of-9 from the floor and buried a team-leading four three-pointers to close out the contest with 18 points. Seniors
Max Abmas and
Anthony Hollerich scored 17 and 12 points, respectively as senior
Connor Wilson tacked on six rebounds and four points to close out the Ranger starting five.

Junior
Eli Steger provided a spark off the bench for the Rangers, going 2-of-2 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line to finish with eight points while dragging down seven rebounds. Sophomore Shane Hatzmann made his varsity debut for the Rangers, logging a steal. Jesuit shot 64.6 percent from the floor and 41.2 percent from three-point range while limiting South Grand Prairie to a 21.7 percent clip from three-point range.

Jesuit out-rebounded South Grand Prairie, 31-22 and racked up 40 points in the paint alongside 13 second-chance points on eight offensive rebounds. Jesuit forced 13 turnovers and scored 14 points off of Warrior miscues.

In the first quarter, the Rangers converted four of their first five shots from the floor to take an 11-7 lead with 4:30 remaining in the opening quarter. A thunderous dunk by Marble punctuated the run as the Rangers took a 20-16 lead at the end of the first.

A quick, 4-2 run by South Grand Prairie cut the lead to two points but the Rangers erupted for a 10-4 run, sparked two three-pointers from Perryman, to take a 32-24 lead with 3:37 remaining in the half. A layup by Marble, three-pointer by Abmas and two buckets from Wilson closed the half on a 9-2 run for Jesuit as the Rangers took a 41-28 lead into the break.

Jesuit increased its lead to 17 points with an 8-4 run to open the third quarter, finishing the quarter with a 16-point lead. The Ranger defense locked down on the Warriors in the fourth quarter, holding South Grand Prairie to 2-of-8 from three-point range over the final eight minutes to secure the win.

On Tuesday, Dec. 11, the Rangers will travel to Mansfield, Texas to battle No. 1-5A Timberview at 8 p.m. The Timberwolves defeated No. 2-5A Justin Northwest, 57-51, on Tuesday to remain unbeaten. Timberview opens the week ranked No. 18 in the nation according to the
