Jesuit Dallas suffered a pair of losses to Mid-Atlantic lacrosse powerhouses, dropping a closely contested, 7-5 decision to Archbishop Spaulding on Saturday, Mar. 10 inside Maryland Stadium before falling to Gonzaga Prep, 10-2 on Mar. 13.

Against Spaulding, the Rangers were led by seniors

Jack Tabor, who netted two goals apiece to anchor the Jesuit effort. Fellow senior

Jesuit Dallas went 5-for-13 from the faceoff "x", committed six penalties but only yielded one man-up goal to Spaulding. The Rangers secured 28 ground balls compared to 11 for Spaulding but fell victim to a defense that turned aside 21 of Jesuit's 26 shots.

How it Happened – Archbishop Spaulding

- Spaulding struck first, scoring a goal with 4:15 remaining in the opening quarter after both teams struggled offensively to start the contest. Sprock found twine with 1:52 remaining in the quarter to send the game into the second tied, 1-1.

- After another scoring drought, Spaulding broke the tie with 2:48 remaining in the opening half. Tabor scored his first goal of the contest to tie the game again with 2:14 left but a go-ahead goal by Spaulding put the Cavaliers up, 3-2 going into the halftime break.

- Jesuit was able to split a pair of Archbishop Spaulding goals in the third quarter after Hassell's first tally of the game with 5:12 remaining in the quarter, but Archbishop Spaulding was able to take a two-goal lead into the fourth quarter. Sprock and Tabor scored for Jesuit in the fourth, but the Rangers were unable to crack the Cavaliers' defense in regulation while Spaulding scored a pair of critical insurance goals for the win.

Against Gonzaga, Sprock and Tabor scored goals in the third quarter, but six unanswered goals by the Eagles proved too much to overcome.
