Jesuit Dallas rugby ended the regular season with a resounding victory over Plano on Thursday evening. The Rangers went 2-2 over their final four games of the season, securing a pair of dominant victories with a 69-7 win over Fordham Prep on March 31 before upending Plano, 102-0 on Thursday. Jesuit fell to the Harlequin Colts, 26-22 on March 22 and battled Texas top-ranked Westlake until the waning moments, when the Chaps scored an injury time try to escape with a 31-27 victory over the Rangers.

In the regular season finale against Plano, junior
Jacob Jowdy set the tone for the Blue and Gold with four tries, followed by three tries from senior
Alexander Kowalske and a pair of scores from junior Max Telfer. Additional tries were recorded by seniors
Paris Brown,
Alec Hansen,
Gerardo Gonzalez Zee Hine and
Liam Vlasimisky. The Rangers earned the playoff berth after Jesuit's fourth try of the game, recorded by Hanson. Junior Brendan Hunt added a key run down the field to set-up Brown for the Rangers' final try of the contest.
Â
The Plano win provided Jesuit with some returned momentum after the narrow setback to Westlake. Jesuit built a 24-7 halftime lead against the Chaps with tries from juniors
Niko Triantos,
Will Woodard and Vlasimisky, but Westlake came charging back in the second half, taking a 26-24 lead with two minutes remaining in regulation.
Â
Jesuit looked primed to score the massive upset moments later, when Jowdy laced a 40-yard kick into the wind that sailed through the uprights to give Jesuit a one-point lead, but Westlake ended the Rangers' hopes with a last-second try to secure the win.
Â
The Rangers welcomed Fordham Prep from New York City for a non-district bout on March 31, jumping out to a dominant, early lead after tries from Jowdy and junior
Noah Villasana. A kick and chase from Gonzalez followed by a try from senior Brandon Morell kept the Ranger run alive as the Blue and Gold secured a 28-0 lead.
Â
Senior
Ethan Kirkland notched a try, followed by scores from Telfer, junior J.C. Erickson and
Zee Hine to build the Ranger lead to 63-0 before Fordham stopped the shutout with its first try of the game. Brown capped the win by finding paydirt, concluding a dominant win for the Rangers.
Â
On senior night against the Harlequin Colts, Jesuit Dallas battled but faced a 16-point deficit early in the second half. A try with 27 minutes remaining in the half allowed the Rangers to cut into the lead, but a resilient Colts offense would keep the Rangers out of reach until the final whistle.
Â
Jesuit Dallas concludes the regular season with a 5-4-1 record and will await to see if a playoff berth is on the horizon.
