Chase Neel scored a go-ahead goal with nine seconds remaining in the third period, helping Jesuit complete a late game comeback en route to a 5-4 win over Allen on Thursday at the Richardson StarCenter. Moving to 2-1-0 on the year, Jesuit trailed the Eagles, 4-3, heading into the third but came roaring back to secure its second straight win.

Luke Skaggs scored his first goal of the season while classmate
Jack Rahlfs racked up 21 saves, including five saves in the third.

Allen jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the first despite a power play goal by Dragojevic with 5:52 remaining in the period. Jesuit would tie the game in the second as Dragojevic scored his second of the game four minutes into the period before Skaggs lit the lamp for a short handed goal with 4:48 on the second period clock. Allen would retake the lead with 2:07 left and take the one goal lead into the third.
The Jesuit forecheck kept Allen away from the offensive zone for much of the third period, providing the opening for Jesuit's late game heroics. Dragojevic completed the hat trick with an unassisted tally at the 4:26 mark. Neel broke through unassisted for the go-ahead goal with nine seconds left to give Jesuit the lead for the first time in the contest.
Jesuit will continue its season on Oct. 10 when the Rangers travel to Euless for an 8:45 p.m. puck drop against Southlake Carroll. The Rangers and Dragons last met on Feb. 15, 2018 in a contest which saw Jesuit secure a 7-3 win.
