The Rangers defeated St. Thomas, 75-0, to earn the Bishops' Cup on Saturday, Jan. 26 at Christ the King School in Dallas, Texas. The victory follows a convincing, 37-7 win over the North Texas Barbarians in Jesuit's first home match of the year. Jesuit would close a three-game stint in Dallas with its' first loss of the season as the Blue and Gold dropped a close, 22-19 decision to Lake Travis on Jan. 31.

Matt Mancillas helped Jesuit secure a critical extra point in the standings, despite the loss. Against the Barbarians, Jesuit broke open a 31-0 lead in the second half before yielding a score late in the second half to secure a dominant victory.

Jesuit Dallas will next battle Eagle Mountain on Feb. 9 and Rock Rugby on Feb. 15 before returning to Postell Stadium to face Allen on Feb. 21. Jesuit's next home game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. as the Rangers hope to secure a critical league win against the Eagles.
