Jesuit Dallas rugby dominated the second half and celebrated senior night with an eyebrow-raising, 54-14 win over Plano on Friday night at Postell Stadium. The Rangers entered halftime trailing the Wildcats, 14-12, but blanked Plano in the second half to running away with their 11th win of the season while bringing the team to the precipice of a divisional title and subsequent playoff home game.

Will Woodard opened the scoring with a try after Plano took an early 7-0 lead, but the Wildcats responded with another try to take a 14-5 lead. Senior
Maximillian Telfer tallied Jesuit's second try of the game as the first half clock expired to send Jesuit into the halftime break trailing, 14-12.

Jacob Jowdy and another setup run from Telfer primed Mancillas for his second try of the game before senior
Niko Triantos continued the run, providing Jesuit a 47-14 lead in the final moments of regulation. Junior
Daniel Gutierrez-Gorham capped the win with an extra time try to provide the punctuation mark to Jesuit's dominant win over Plano.

The Rangers will conclude the regular season on Saturday against Westlake in a battle of the top two teams in the Rugby Texas Division I North Division. Westlake enters the matchup with a 5-0 record in district play and a four-point lead on Jesuit while the Rangers lead Rock Rugby by four points for the No. 2 seed in the division. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. from Postell Stadium.
