Andrew Zang took over responsibilities in the crease and made 10 saves on the day. Southlake Carroll scored a pair of unanswered goals in the second period to take the lead after Diaz scored in the first. Diaz looked to put the Rangers in position for overtime with a goal early in the third, but Southlake Carroll retook the lead with 5:04 left and held on over the final moments of the third, which included 1:49 of a man-up advantage with the net empty.
Jesuit returns to action on Thursday, Dec. 10 against Frisco. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. from the Plano StarCenter.
