Jesuit Dallas developed several first half chances but were unable to score as a goal by Plano West in the 66th minute allowed the Wolves to escape with a 1-0 win on Tuesday at John Clark Stadium.

In the eighth minute, Shea headed a free kick for Jesuit's first quality chance of the game. The Wolves' goalkeeper tipped the ball over the crossbar to keep the game scoreless heading into halftime.

In the second half, the Ranger defense kept the game tied 0-0 as a breakaway was pressured and sent wide by the Wolves. Miller made a diving save late in the first half as Ross placed his shot on target moments later. Plano West finally broke through on a rebound, scoring to take the one-goal lead with 14:44 left in the second half. Weinberger hit a crossbar in the 73rd minute for Jesuit's last shot on goal before time expired.

The Rangers will welcome McKinney Boyd to Postell Stadium on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. Boyd defeated Jesuit, 2-1, on Jan. 24 in the first meeting between the two teams.
