The Rangers scored its biggest win of the season on Friday at Postell Stadium, hanging on in the second half to upset state-ranked No. 20 McKinney Boyd, 2-1. Jesuit dropped a 2-1 decision to Prosper on Tuesday, suffering the one-goal setback despite a dominant offensive performance by the Blue and Gold. Jesuit enters a senior night showdown against district leading Allen trailing fourth-place Boyd by two points for the final playoff berth in UIL District 9-6A with four games remaining on the schedule.

Reid Weinberger scored his first goal of the season, one of two goals scored by the Rangers in the first half to help Jesuit defeat the Broncos, 2-1, at Postell Stadium. Junior
Benton Bacile scored Jesuit's second tally as the Rangers outshot Boyd, 17-7. Jesuit's defense that firm against a determined Bronco offense that recorded seven corner kicks and four shots in the second half.

Diego Sierra helped Jesuit score the game-opening tally in the 23rd minute, placing a pass between the legs of a defender to find a charging Weinberger, who deposited the pass into the back of the net to spot Jesuit a 1-0 lead and cash in after Jesuit dominated the opening half with nine shots. Ryan Shea assisted on Jesuit's second goal, finding Bacile on a give-and-go play that left the junior open for an easy put-away shot, sending Jesuit into halftime with a 2-0 lead.

In the second half, Jesuit kept momentum on its side with seven shots and four corners, but Boyd began to put added pressure on Jesuit with 15 minutes remaining in the half. Boyd scored in the 71st minute, completing a sequence that saw the Broncos earn three corner kicks and take two shots. However, Jesuit held Boyd away from the equalizer over the final eight minutes of the second half.

The Rangers outshot Prosper, 28-8, but the Eagles upended the Rangers, 2-1, on Tuesday at Children's Health Stadium in Prosper, Texas. Senior
Will Kelton scored a second half goal for the Rangers, but the Rangers were unable to score the equalizer over the final 20 minutes to earn a critical point in the district standings.

Stratton Ross helped Jesuit put the pressure on the Eagles early as Jesuit took six shots over the first 13 minutes of the game. Prosper scored in the 21st minute to take the early lead as the Rangers were unable to capitalize off of 10 shots over the final 20 minutes of the opening half.

Prosper took a 2-0 lead in the 53rd minute as a failed clear turned into an Eagles tally. Jesuit finally broke through in the 61st minute after senior
Diego Sierra found Kelton on a run, allowing the senior the opening to score and cut the lead in half. However, the Prosper defense held firm against Jesuit to clinch the win.

The Rangers will return to Postell Stadium on Tuesday to battle Allen, a game which will also serve as senior night for the Jesuit Dallas soccer program. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. as Jesuit will aim to topple an Allen team ranked 18th in the state.
