Jesuit finished the College Station Tournament with a 3-2-1 record, defeating Lufkin, 9-3 before closing the six-game slate with a 6-6 tie against College Station. Junior
Tucker Huhn picked up his first varsity win with a strong performance on the mound, throwing Jesuit's third complete game win of the weekend.

Junior
Gavin Perryman went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, driving in a run. Seniors
Jalon Mack and
Braxton Boyle scattered three hits apiece, and Mack drove in three runs while senior
Tyson Pointer recorded two RBI. Boyle added two hits against College Station as junior
Jordan Lawlar drove in two runs with a pair of hits. Senior
Ryan Messick struck out nine batters over four innings of work before classmate
Matthew Cox took over in the fifth, striking out four hitters over two innings.

Jesuit took a first inning lead after an infield single by Boyle that scored Lawlar. Lufkin took the lead with two runs in the top of the second, but Jesuit would take a commanding, 8-2 lead after scoring two runs in the third and five in the fourth. Lawlar scored his second run of the day on a passed ball before line drive single in to left by Mack plated Boyle in the third.

Mack added a two-run single up the middle in the fourth, scoring senior
Tanner Jones and Lawlar before a double to left center by Perryman brought Boyle home. Pointer laced a double into left center, scoring Perryman and Mack to give Jesuit the six-run lead. Lufkin would score in the fifth, but Jesuit would get the run back in the sixth after sophomore
Cash Riley scored on a passed ball after recording his first varsity hit.

College Station scored five runs in the bottom of the second to take a strong lead into the third. Jesuit cut into the Cougar lead with two hits in the inning, as Pointer led off the inning by reaching on an outfield error. Senior
Tino Ramirez pushed Pointer into scoring position, then scored on a single to right by Lawlar, who would score on another College Station error.

Boyle scored Jesuit's last run of the frame on a single to right, taking Jesuit into the fourth trailing by two runs. Lawlar would cut the lead to one with a two-out single to right in the fourth, then tie the game with two runs in the fifth after the Cougars plated one in the bottom of the fourth.

Senior
Jake Koger hit a deep fly ball to right field, allowing Perryman and Mack to score after the Cougar outfielder dropped the ball. Jesuit had the chance to take the lead int the sixth, but Jesuit couldn't score the go-ahead run as the inning ended on a double play with the bases loaded.

Jesuit will host its first home game of the season on Thursday as the Rangers will begin the 2020 Jesuit Dallas Baseball Classic at 1:30 p.m. against Plano East. Jesuit will close the first day of tournament play at 6:30 p.m. on Mar. 5 against Richardson to start the three-day tournament.
