Behind a double-double from senior
Ryan McCormick and four double-digit scorers, Jesuit Dallas moved to 3-0 on the year with a 71-67, overtime win over Prosper on Saturday at Walsh Gym.

McCormick finished the game with 19 points and 15 rebounds, earning his first varsity double-double on an afternoon where the senior went 6-of-10 from the floor, 7-of-9 from the charity stripe and added two blocks. Junior

Ben Johnson scored 13 points each, as the two guards hit a trio of three-pointers apiece, helping Jesuit finish the contest 45.5 percent from behind the arc.

Sky Tschurr added 10 points with a 4-for-7 clip from the field which included a pair of three pointers while junior
Dylan Gibbons led the team with six assists on the day. Jesuit trailed Prosper by 12 points with 7:37 left in regulation, but finished the fourth quarter on a 19-7 run, including a pair of converted free throws by McCormick with 28 seconds left to send the game into overtime.

Tschurr hit a massive three-pointer 17 seconds into overtime to give Jesuit the lead for good. The Ranger defense held Prosper without a field goal in the extra session and forced three turnovers to secure the win.

Jesuit will return to Walsh Gym on Tuesday, Nov. 23 to take on Mesquite Horn. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. as the Rangers will look to start the season 4-0 for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
