Tai Kryger scored a career-high 18 points as the Rangers were able to ward off a late push en route to securing a 69-64 win to start a three-game trip to New Orleans on thursday in Sidell, Louisiana. Kryger was one of three Rangers with double digit outings as the Rangers move to 6-2 on the season.
Kryger hit four three-pointers and shot 70 percent (7-of-10) from the floor, adding a team-high seven rebounds and two steals. Senior
Ryan McCormick went 5-for-5 from the floor and added six free throws to record 17 points with six rebounds while senior
Ben Johnson scored 11 points while also securing six rebounds.

Will Mansour picked up three rebounds apiece. Four points from Mansour and senior Samuel Dunkerley wrapped the scoring for the Blue and Gold.
Jesuit will continue the three-game trip on Friday, as the Rangers will take on the Falcons of Archbishop Hannan at 7 p.m. on Dec. 10. The trip will conclude on Dec. 11, when the Rangers will compete against Jesuit New Orleans at 12 p.m.
