Jesuit Dallas out-rebounded Hannan, 31-24, scoring 12 points in the paint and nine points off of 16 Hannan turnovers. The Rangers led by 10 with 2:20 remaining in the third quarter, but Hannan used an 11-0 run to take the lead. Johnson hit two key three-pointers to keep the Rangers ahead, and Tschurr converted two free throws with 14 seconds remaining in regulation to put the Rangers up by three. However, Hannan hit a game-tying three with four seconds left, then stole the in bound pass and hit a half-court shot at the buzzer for the win.
The Rangers will wrap their trip on Saturday, when the Blue and Gold will trave to Jesuit New Orleans for a 12 p.m. showdown.
