Jesuit Dallas swimming and diving opened the David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center in resounding fashion, remaining unbeaten on the season with a 148.5-33.5 win over the Hornets on Tuesday, Dec. 2. The Rangers swept all individual and relay events at the dual and move to 6-0 on the season with the convincing victory.
 
A trio of Rangers, sophomore William Savarese, sophomore Jaden Giunta and junior Leonardo Pelaez, scored two wins apiece to help aid the Jesuit Dallas sweep. Savarese, who recently set a new school record in the 500 free, won the 200 free (1:44.50) and the 100 breast (1:01.36). Giunta tacked on victories in the 200 I.M. (2:09.51) and 500 free (5:15.32) while Pelaez scored wins in the 100 fly (56.15) and 100 back (57.79).
 
Additional event winners included senior Blake Butz in the 50 free (23.54), senior James Savarese in the 100 free (49.75) and sophomore Sam An in the one-meter dive (182.40).
 
Jesuit will now break for the holidays before returning to the David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center on Jan. 6 to take on Frisco Wakeland. The final home dual of the year will take place on Jan. 11 as Jesuit will welcome Highland Park.
