DALLAS - The Jesuit Dallas swimming team finished in second place at the Ranger Relays at the David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center on Saturday.

The Rangers scored 254 points in the relay swims, just behind Plano West with 258 points.

Plano West also won the 'Shootout' portion of the event - a 50 yard freestyle sprint that alternates boys and girl teammates in an elimination-style format.

Bishop Lynch standout Grier Beeson set the pool record in the 100 back with a 57.50 on the leadoff leg of the 400 individual medley. She broke her own record that she set four days earlier in a dual meet with Ursuline Academy. Her performance helped BL score 296 points on the girls side of the ledger, well ahead of JJ Pearce with 236 points.

Jesuit will return to competition on Wednesday, October. 7 with a road meet at Plano. Action begins at 6 p.m. at the Plano Aquatic Center.
