Scott Scores Hat Trick, Rangers Remain Unbeaten in District Play

Senior Cullen Scott became the second member of the Jesuit Dallas soccer team to score a hat trick this season as Jesuit scored five goals for the third time this season in a 5-2 district win over MacArthur on Tuesday in Irving, Texas.

Scott scored goals on assists by seniors Spence Gilker, Grant Koshakji and Arnold Perez-Valenzuela. Seniors Ryan Shea and Jason Davis scored their fourth and second goals of the year, respectively, to complete the scoring column for the Blue and Gold.

The Rangers out-shot MacArthur, 20-4, earned four corner kicks and controlled the pace for most of the contest. Sophomore Cole Hines lowered his goals against average to 0.98 on the year with his third clean sheet of the season, recording one save during the contest.

Jesuit will return to Postell Stadium on Friday, Feb. 5 to take on Nimitz. The Rangers and Vikings have not met since the 2016 season, when the team picked up their fourth consecutive win over Nimitz with a 2-0 shutout victory. Friday's kickoff is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
