The Rangers rebounded from a loss to Plano East with a 5-2, comeback win over Midlothian Heritage on Friday at Wright field. Jesuit will head into the final day of the Collin County Invitational with a 3-1 record, and will face off against Keller Fossil Ridge and Denton in the final day.

JJ Luna picked up the win against Midlothian Heritage, going six innings and allowing one earned run on six hits while striking out three. Sophomore
Jack Barr earned his first save of the year in the win, striking out two batters over one inning of work to help Jesuit hang onto the three-run win. Jesuit turned the tables on the Jaguars with a four-run fifth, led by a two-run single by senior

David Long added an RBI on an infield single, closing out the game 2-for-2 from the plate.

The victory followed a 2-0 setback to Plano East, as Panther pitcher Ben Baker-Livingston was able to shut the Jesuit offense down over five strong innings. Senior pitcher
Tucker Huhn threw seven strong innings of work, striking out one batter while working his way out of several jams. Junior
Cash Riley, who hit a key triple in yesterday's sweep, collected two of the team's three hits.
