Tucker Huhn threw his third one-hitter of the season, providing the opening for Jesuit Dallas to score three late runs against an upset-driven Irving team, defeating the Tigers, 3-0, on Tuesday at Irving H.S. With the victory, the Rangers win their first district championship since the 2016 season, and will enter their final district series, a two-game set against Richardson, with the hopes of securing the program's first unbeaten district season since 2015.

Huhn struck out 10 batters over seven innings, allowing only one hit on a double in the bottom of the first before retiring the final 17 hitters in order. The senior University of St. Thomas (Minn.) commit has erupted over his last four starts, allowing three or fewer hits over 25 total innings, striking out 28 batters and only allowing one run.

The first game of the Jesuit Dallas and Richardson series will take place on Friday, Apr. 23 at Wright Field before the series finale shifts to Richardson H.S. on Apr. 27.
