For the second consecutive game, the Jesuit Dallas baseball team shook off an early deficit and used a late rally to dispatch the Richardson Eagles, scoring a hard-fought, 8-4 road win on Tuesday at Richardson H.S. With the victory, the Rangers will enter the postseason with a 15-game winning streak and the team's first unbeaten run through district play in six years.

Jake Storey drove in two runs apiece on fifth-inning hits, helping Jesuit flip the script on the upset-minded Eagles with seven runs in the frame. Senior
Gavin Perryman picked up his third win of the year with four innings on the mound, striking out two while only allowing two hits. Senior
Tucker Huhn, who was named to the Dallas Morning News Player of the Week honorable mention listing on Sunday, threw the final three innings of the game and struck out two batters.
A walk to junior
Myles Tucker started the top of the fifth for the Blue and Gold. Senior
Jordan Lawlar reached base on a bunt single before a walk to senior
Nick Lazzara loaded the bases. Lawrence gave Jesuit its first lead of the game with a single to left that scored Tucker and Lawlar before a base hit to center by Storey plated Lawrence and pinch runner
Charlie McCollum. Junior
David Long singled to right to keep the rally alive before a walk to junior
Cash Riley loaded the bases. Chavez launched a two-run double to left center, plating Long and pinch runner
Jack Mason to spot the Rangers a six-run lead before a sacrifice fly by Tucker brought home Riley to complete the Rangers' impressive inning. In total, Jesuit scored seven runs on five hits in the top of the fifth, and were able to shake off three Richardson runs in the bottom of the frame by shutting out the Eagles in the sixth and seventh for the win.
The Rangers will now await their postseason opponent out of District 8-6A. Playoff game times and locations will be announced when the series details are confirmed at the conclusion of the regular season.
