Nick Lazzara was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, helping the Rangers score a 3-2, walk-off win over Wylie in the team's regular season finale on Saturday at Wright Field. Jesuit Dallas hits the 30-win plateau for the first time since 2016 with the victory and head into the playoffs on a 16-game winning streak.

JJ Luna picked up the win on the mound with three strong innings on the mound, striking out two batters, allowing only one hit to 12 batters faced and shutting out the Pirates over the final three innings. Senior
David Day threw two quality innings in his final regular season start on the mound, holding Wylie to one run on three hits, before sophomore
Jack Barr took over in the third, striking out three batters over two innings.

Jesuit Dallas, the No. 1 seed out of District 7-6A, will now take on Arlington H.S. in the UIL Bi-District Round. The first game between the Rangers and Colts will take place on Friday, May 7 at 7 p.m. in Arlington, Texas before the series shifts to Wright Field for a Saturday double-header. The second game of the best-of-three series will start at 1 p.m. on Saturday, with the decisive third game starting immediately after if necessary. The winner of the Jesuit Dallas-Arlington series will take on the winner of the Coppell-Denton Guyer series in the UIL Area Round.
