Jordan Lawlar and
Gavin Perryman ignited Jesuit to a 19-1 victory over Nimitz on Tuesday in Irving, Texas, as the Rangers secured a sweep over the Vikings as the team scattered 20 hits, recorded two doubles alongside the two long balls and locked down on Nimitz from the mound.

Perryman finished the game 2-for-3 from the plate with five RBI and launched his first home run of the season, a grand slam to right center, in the third inning to continue a dominating run by the Rangers that saw the team score 18 runs over the first three innings.

Lawlar launched his fourth home run of the year in the first, going deep in his first at bat for the second consecutive game while finishing the game 2-for-3 with four RBI. Seniors
Gardner Lawrence and
Charlie McCollum each went 2-for-2 with a double while juniors
Tommy Delaney and
David Long scattered two hits apiece.

Jake Storey threw four innings to earn his seventh win of the year, striking out five batters and only allowing one hit. Sophomore
Jack Barr threw the final inning of the game, striking out two batters.

Jesuit will shift its focus onto Berkner, as the Rangers will begin a two-game series with the Rams on Friday. The first game of the series will take place in Richardson, Texas before the Rangers return to Wright Field on Apr. 13.
