Jesuit Dallas scored 52 seconds into the first period and never looked back, leading wire-to-wire en route to securing its fourth consecutive Texas Amateur Hockey Association (TAHA) Division I State Championship with a 5-1 win over Strake Jesuit on Sunday at the Valley Ranch StarCenter.

Junior Drew Zang finished Sunday's game with 19 saves, finishing the weekend with 72 total stops in net as the junior only allowed one goal over 153 minutes of ice time during the busy weekend.

Sunday's state championship marks the eighth title in program history, fourth consecutive state championship and sixth since 2014. With the victory, Jesuit earns an invitation to compete at the 2022 Chipotle-USA Hockey High School Tournament, which is set to take place in Dallas this March. The Division I tournament is set for March 24-28, and will take place at the StarCenters in Frisco, Plano and McKinney.
