Jesuit Dallas outscored Nimitz, 28-0, in the second quarter en route to a convincing, 49-13 win over the Vikings on Thursday night at Joy and Ralph Ellis Stadium in Irving. The win improves Jesuit's district record to 5-1 record and assures the Rangers' berth in the upcoming University Interscholastic League (UIL) playoffs.

Charlie Schmidt scored four touchdowns in Thursday's game, completing 20-of-26 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns while adding a team-high eight rushes for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Senior
Jake Musso scored a rushing and receiving touchdown on the evening, closing out the bout with a team-high nine receptions for 132 yards. Senior

Adam Kelly ran back a 45-yard interception return for touchdown in the fourth quarter, finishing the contest with five tackles. The Rangers would finish the game with three interceptions as senior

Grayson Wombacher led the way for Jesuit with 10 tackles on the day and a 14-yard tackle for loss, followed by senior

The Rangers will return to Gary Pasqua Field on Friday, Oct. 28 for a Homecoming Weekend showdown against MacArthur. The Cardinals are 3-3 in league play and are currently in a three-way tie with Berkner and Pearce for the final playoff spot in District 7-6A following a 52-0 loss to Highland Park on Friday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from Ranger Stadium in a matchup that will also serve as Jesuit's final home game of the 2022 season.
