Jesuit Dallas erupted for a 24-5 lead early in the second half and cruised to a dominant, 34-17 win over Allen on Saturday at the Lowery Freshman Center. The Rangers will enter a key showdown against Strake with a 1-1 record while securing their first road win of the season.

Senior Olayinka Lamikanra led the way with three tries on the afternoon, with senior Benoni Mesfin recording a pair of tries. Junior Louis Traister added Jesuit's final try of the day, while sophomore Dylan Wachsman converted a pair of kicks.

The Rangers will face the Crusaders at 3 p.m .on Saturday, Feb. 26 at Postell Stadium. Jesuit has picked up two straight wins over Strake Jesuit, including a 47-24 win over the Crusaders in Strake's last visit to the Metroplex on Feb. 15, 2020. The Rangers last defeated Strake, 36-28, in the Rugby Texas Single School State Championship game on May 1, 2021.
