Kyle Hogan scored goals for the Rangers, but a late regulation goal provided the window for Frisco East to secure a 3-2, shootout win over the Rangers on Thursday at the Richardson StarCenter.
Rahlfs scored his 11th goal of the season, the highest number on the team, with 3:02 left in the fourth to give Jesuit a one-goal lead. Hogan's tally came late in the second period, tying the game at 1-1 after an early goal by Frisco East. Assists were recorded by freshmen

Andrew Zang recorded 30 saves on the night.
Shootout goals were recorded by Cohen and Hogan. After four scoreless rounds of the shootout, Cohen and Hogan each answered converted penalties to keep the shootout intact. Jesuit was held without a successful penalty over the final five rounds, while Frisco East was able to clinch the win in the 11th round of the shootout.
Jesuit will now await its draw for the 2022 USA Hockey National High School Tournament, which is set to take place at the end of the month in the Metroplex. The Rangers captured their fourth straight state championship in January and will head to the national stage after reaching the knockout stage last year. The national championships are scheduled for Mar. 24-28, and will take place at the StarCenter rinks in Plano, McKinney and Frisco.
