Will Reading won 10 faceoffs and secured four ground balls in the fourth quarter, helping the Rangers fend off a Scots offense that rallied late but was held without a goal during a nine-minute stretch of the fourth that allowed the Rangers take a dominant, six-goal lead. A key contributor to the victory was Jesuit's man-up unit, as the Rangers converted on three-of-four extra man opportunities in the fourth quarter.
Jesuit will continue its spring break trip on Monday, when the Rangers travel to Davie, Florida for 5 p.m. matchup against Western. The three-game trip will conclude at 5 p.m. on Tuesday when the Rangers square off against St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale.Â
