Jesuit Dallas lacrosse swept Western H.S. (Fla.) and St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) to complete an unbeaten spring break run through the Sunshine State on Monday and Tuesday afternoons. With a 16-5 win over Western and a 15-6 victory over Aquinas, the Rangers rose to No. 13 in the nation according to the Inside Lacrosse Boys H.S. National Rankings and will return to Postell Stadium for another out-of-state matchup on a four-game winning streak.

Senior McAllister Hobbs remained the hot hand for the team against Western, leading the team with four goals and adding an assist. Sophomores Beckett Foley and Ty Robertson scored two goals apiece while additional tallies were secured by seniors Charlie Schmidt, Nate Duncan, Charles Moran, John Starr, juniors Mercer Fernandes, Billy Robertson and sophomore Jackson Raymond. Billy Robertson, senior Charlie Metz and senior Will Reading added two assists apiece as Reading added three ground balls, tying sophomore Wylie Lent for the team lead, while going six-for-10 at the faceoff "x". Junior Carter Bristow picked up four faceoff wins, senior Connor Knight tacked on three saves in the cage as junior Cooper Coleman recorded five saves.

Hobbs added a team-high five goals against St. Thomas Aquinas, as Foley scored three, Metz added two and additional tallies were recorded by Schmidt, Mercer Fernandes, Reading and senior Jackson Strauser. Knight was big in the cage against Aquinas, racking up 14 saves to pick up the win. Metz secured a team-leading three assists, Robertson snagged six ground balls as Reading racked up 11 wins at the faceoff "x".

Jesuit returns to Postell Stadium on Thursday, Mar. 24 to take on St. Stephen/St. Agnes (Va.). The matchup, which marks Jesuit's fifth out-of-state game this season, will be a long-awaited first matchup between the two teams as the original showdown was scheduled for 2020 before the pandemic shutdown. Faceoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening.
